Our company has several years of experience in the area of the heat treatment of soft magnetic toroid elements. In addition to this, we are able to produce 20-30 um thick 3-5 component metal-glass strips serving as raw materials, starting from the ingot up to the delivery of the rolled-up strips. We do track and document the entire path of the alloy up to the finished product in our internal quality assurance system.
The main steps of manufacturing metal glass strips:
- Pre-alloy manufacturing in vacuum casting equipment
- Strip manufacturing in the so-called melt spinner equipment
- Rolling up the strips into toroid elements
- Heat treatment
- Qualification
We do fully reutilise the scrap produced during the manufacturing process.
