Spectrometer

With our Hitachi Foundry Master Optimum Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES) equipment we are able to define the element composition of the metals with an analytic method that is reliable and widely used.

The high frequency induction equipment used for melting generates vortexes within the melt, which blend the melt perfectly, thus ensuring its homogeneous composition. Our experts may prepare even jointly with the customer the melting and casting plan, with taking into consideration the special customer demands. Our work is also facilitated by a precision weight scale of 100 microgram resolution, and a high tech optical emission spectrometer.

Cold crucible melting unit

Our company, thanks to its infrastructure is able to produce special alloys in vacuum and inert gas media, with the aid of our vacuum induction melting equipment.

Magnetic measurement station | 2 Tesla

The large 2 T homogeneous magnetic field of the GMW 3473-70 electromagnet provides an opportunity for electro-chemical experiments, magnetic field thermal treatment experiments, for implementing magnetising and demagnetising processes. The maximal distance of the two armours may be maximum 96 mm. In this case the magnetic induction developing is of the value of 400 mT. By approaching the armours it is possible to achieve a field of a value of even 2 Tesla, which allows the implementation of unique experiments.

A small-sized air operated heat treatment oven belongs to the magnetising table, with which we are able to carry out heat treatment even up to 700 °C in the strong magnetic field. The oven, due to its design, is suitable for achieving quite high heating and cooling speeds.

Vacuum heat treatment unit

The oven is without insulation, which means a lower working point (max 700 °C), however, it is able to reach extremely large cooling gradients. Regulation is always computer controlled, with the possibility of inserting practically an infinite number of heat treatment steps.
