Our company undertakes the production of special alloy master samples that are used in spectrometry, which are not available in commerce. We use for producing these master-samples the so-called cold crucible technology, which ensures that during melting or casting no contamination will be dissolved into the alloy from the wall of the crucible. The alloy made this way contains exactly those elements and in those proportions, which are included among the measured components. The high frequency magnetic field, which we use for melting, not only melts, but also mixes the melt. The homogeneity of the alloy obtained will be excellent.
These alloys may be used for example for the self-calibration of spectrometers, for materials science research.
